Jerome Guizbatt|ジェローム・ギズバット|Jerōmu Gizubatto is a Quincy and member of the Vandenreich's Stern Ritter with the designation "R".

Appearance[]

Jerome is a man of enormous proportions, being far larger and muscular than the average person, with a dark complexion and light-colored hair arranged into cornrows. He exhibits numerous ape-like characteristics, such as pronounced upper-canines and sharpened fingernails, as well as patches of dark hair along both his forearms and fingers. His attire is a variation upon the Stern Ritter's typical white uniform, consisting of the order's signature hooded-cloak and a trench coat, as well as pants and a pair of trench boots.

Plot[]

The Thousand-Year Blood War[]

Upon receiving the orders of Juhabach, he and the other Stern Ritter gather at the Gate of the Sun, before traveling to Seireitei in order to participate in the conquest of Soul Society.

Once there, he and the others create pillars of blue flame prior to engaging the Shinigami in battle. Shortly afterwards, Jerome is one of three Stern Ritter to confront Captain Kenpachi Zaraki during the invasion's initial stages. However, according to Zaraki's account, despite attempting to use his ability, Jerome is easily and fatally cut right down the middle. Zaraki later impales and then carries Jerome's corpse atop his shoulders, alongside those of the others, before unceremoniously presenting it in front of Juhabach.

Powers & Abilities[]

The Roar|咆哮 (ザ・ロア)|Za Roa : After greatly enlarging his already considerable size and adopting a more feral ape-like form, Jerome possesses the ability to drastically amplify the force of his roars to the point of producing a strong, sound-based shockwave that he can attack opponents with. The strength of this shockwave is such that, at close range, it alone can mutilate or even kill lower-ranked Shinigami.

Trivia[]

  • When first observed, Jerome had a light complexion and dark hair on his head, rather than the dark skin tone and light-colored hair that he displayed in later appearances.
